Oh yeeeeees! This is a lovely Wednesday for me. And I thank you Lord for waking me up today.

What’s up for today? It’s boyfie time! πŸ˜€ Blah. Blah. Blah. He picked me up around 7:30am then we had our ultimate favey breakfast – spicy goto, tokwa and lumpia. Nom, nom, nom πŸ™‚

After eating we decided to go upstairs (in his room) then. . . . . . . .

Me and my boyfriend dozed off in a snap earlier this morning. I don’t know what happened but I was just watching a tv show and he was playing using my phone and then woke up suddenly around 2:30pm. Hohohooooray for us sleepyheads! *applause*

So we’re both tired huh? *bahahaha*

Afterwhich, he decided to buy something for snack. And guess what? He went to Angel’s burger (his favey food stand) and bought Hungarian Sausage. This is an achievement for him. *another applause* Why? He really wanted me to try this kind of snack since I don’t usually eat burgers, sausages and the like from this kind of stand. If you know what I mean. *feeling errrr* hehehe. πŸ˜€

Before he left, he turned on the tv and let me watch my favey cartoon – Tom and Jerry. πŸ™‚ And I was like, you can go now I’m fine being alone here – I got Tom and Jerry to entertain me. *mehehehe* JK.

After a few minutes he came back with Hungarian Sausage. Yey! And oh yes. Now I know why he really wanted me to try it. It tastes good! No joke. As if it wasn’t bought somewhere down the road. *grinning* He made my tummy so happy πŸ™‚ Thanks boyfie! :*

Then we got bored afterwards so we decided to play Candy Crush; Everyone’s addiction as of the moment. lol. Whenever there’s a level that I can’t reach the goal he can make it so easy. Vice versa. Why? Why? Why?

Ironic isn’t it? Duh. So Candy Crush is trying to annoy us, huh? *raised eyebrow* JK. πŸ™‚

And now boyfie is asleep again and I’m trying not to because I need to wake him up around 8:30pm; he needs to go to work tonight.

So why do you think I made this post? *think * think * think * think *

I’m inspired. More than inspired. He’s right beside me and hugging me so tight and sweetly. This is the best feeling in the world πŸ™‚ Gah. I can’t explain what kind of feeling is this.

I can’t thank you enough Lord for giving me this kind of blessing. I Love You.

* And here’s a snapshot of my favey Tom and Jerry cartoon. This is so sweet. πŸ˜€

Ash Wednesday / Turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel. β€”Mark 1:15

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Season of Lent. It is a season of penance, reflection, and fasting which prepares us for Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday, through which we attain redemption.

We don’t wear ASHES to proclaim our HOLINESS but to acknowledge that we SIN and are in need of REPENTANCE and RENEWAL.

Ashes are a symbol of penance made sacramental by the blessing of the Church, and they help us develop a spirit of humility and sacrifice.

The ashes are made from the blessed palms used in the Palm Sunday celebration of the previous year. The ashes are christened with Holy Water and are scented by exposure to incense. While the ashes symbolize penance and contrition, they are also a reminder that God is gracious and merciful to those who call on Him with repentant hearts. His Divine mercy is of utmost importance during the season of Lent, and the Church calls on us to seek that mercy during the entire Lenten season with reflection, prayer and penance.

Remember that thou art dust, and to dust thou shalt return.

It is a matter of real sorrow when God has given those strength to break stronger fetters, those of vanity and sin, that they neglect their own progress and the attainment of such great blessings because they will not detach themselves from trifles. Not only do they not advance, they fall back. For it is well known that on the spiritual road not to go on overcoming self is to go backwards, and not to increase our gain is to lose.As wood can never be transformed into fire if one necessary degree of heat is missing, so the soul that has even one imperfection can never be perfectly transformed in God.
