Pray. Pray. Pray.
The smile on my face doesn’t mean my life is perfect, but it does mean I am thankful for everything God has blessed me with.
Yesterday was really an extraordinary day, you can feel love everywhere. It’s really amazing to see a lot of couples wherever you go sharing positivity and love. Heart’s day it is! ♥
Me and my boyfriend planned to have lunch date at Vikings SM Marikina. After my shift, I went straight to his house to have a little time to rest since I’m a little beat up from work and I still have time to do so since our reservation was at 11am. Upon entering his house; I kissed, hugged and greeted him Happy Valentine’s Day then laid down on their couch. He prepared something to eat since he knows that I didn’t eat at work [preparing my tummy for our buffet lunch date, yay!] After preparing food, he’s been pushy for me to go upstairs [which is a little bit weird] and go to his room where we are going to eat tiny breakfast. I refused since I’m too lazy to walk upstairs. I told him that I’m not going to eat and prefer to have some rest instead. Still, he wanted me to go upstairs. And of course, who’s the boss? haha. With his sweetness, he was able to let me get up and walk upstairs.
Upon entering his room, on his bed, I saw my ever so favorite Choco Mallows :)) yay! And this is why he’s been so pushy, he prepared something to surprise me! 🙂 And his surprise doesn’t end here. I saw a string hanging, and whooooooow! I have a balloon with “I LOVE YOU” on it 🙂 oh yeeeeeeeeeeees! I’m the happiest girl in town ♥
And wait, there’s more 🙂 Flowers, flowers, flowers. . Yes, I have flowers as well! 🙂 I loooooove flowers. And I don’t know why I feel something really special whenever he give me flowers. Maybe preparing surprises really came from his heart, not just to make me feel good 🙂 Such a sweetheart! ♥
After a very tiring day for us, we spent the whole night together with a good slumber 🙂
Indeed, I’m the happiest girl as always. ♥ I’m so blessed to have him. Thank You Lord. You are amazing. ♥
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Season of Lent. It is a season of penance, reflection, and fasting which prepares us for Christ’s Resurrection on Easter Sunday, through which we attain redemption.
We don’t wear ASHES to proclaim our HOLINESS but to acknowledge that we SIN and are in need of REPENTANCE and RENEWAL.
Ashes are a symbol of penance made sacramental by the blessing of the Church, and they help us develop a spirit of humility and sacrifice.
The ashes are made from the blessed palms used in the Palm Sunday celebration of the previous year. The ashes are christened with Holy Water and are scented by exposure to incense. While the ashes symbolize penance and contrition, they are also a reminder that God is gracious and merciful to those who call on Him with repentant hearts. His Divine mercy is of utmost importance during the season of Lent, and the Church calls on us to seek that mercy during the entire Lenten season with reflection, prayer and penance.
Remember that thou art dust, and to dust thou shalt return.
